The Author was in July 1999 hired in by Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as coordinator for an emergency program “Removal of Human bodies froms wells” which lasted for eight months.

Due to encouragements from friends I went back to Kosovo and started a research in order to write a book about the bodies found in wells all over Kosovo. In 2005 “Dødsbrønnene I Kosovo” (Kosovo: The Wells of Death) was published by Sypress Forlag, Norway.

In 2006 I was asked by friends in Kosovo to write another book about Kosovo, I agreed to do another book when I found out that seven years after the war / conflict nothing was done by UN / UNMIK to document about approximately 400 mass graves registered by The International Crime Tribunal in Hague and sent UN Security Council in New York in November 1999. It took four years to complete the second book which was publish in 2010 by Sypress Forlag, Norway.
